So who among us has not been down to Grand Forks for a shopping trip or a concert or a cheap holiday flight? You & you & oh you too? So that makes three! Wel,l of those of us left, who hasn’t said, “I wish we had that in Winnipeg!” Well if you were talking about the fabulous band THE DIERS, then this is your lucky day! Gordie’s goes international once again as we proudly present this fine family trio consisting of Mark and his two daughters, Katy & Hannah Diers! They play everything from country to bluegrass to classic rock, from folk to blues all the way over to jazz, cover tunes and original compositions. We got fiddle, we got mandolin, we got guitars and bass and sweet familial harmonies!
They started out in coffee houses around town & now are in demand at fairs & festivals all across North Dakota & Minnesota, and Canada obviously. I saw them play at our brother coffee house Happy Mike’s last year and enjoyed them so much we just had to import them back up north.
So let me extend a personal invitation to you to come out this Thursday night and listen to some splendid live music and sip Fair Trade Coffee & of course where would we be without our bakers? mmmmm
A tin for the bin and a smile on your face, if you don’t have either you could surely leave with one or both!
